Vortex originally released "Open The Gate" on Universe Productions in 1986, recorded at Studio Spitsbergen. Prior to this LP's sessions, an alternate "demo session" was arranged at Pop Bureau Studion in Groningen. This tape contains these live studio sessions, 11 songs in total including a completely unreleased cut "Breath Down In His Neck". The audio quality is anything but "demo" - a truly unique and fascinating take on this obscure Heavy Metal Classic!
